The Board of Visitors are distinguished alumni and friends who advise the Dean on topics ranging from proposals for new academic programs to the hiring of senior administrators to state and local political issues affecting the law school. Members of the Board also seek to advise the Maryland General Assembly, the Board of Regents, the University System of Maryland Chancellor, and the University of Maryland Baltimore President on matters affecting Maryland Carey Law.
