Gain a Global Perspective of the Law

With each new technological advance, the world becomes both smaller and more complex. This increase in globalization impacts everything from business operations to environmental stewardship, human rights to intellectual property, and more. The diverse offering of international courses and experiential learning opportunities at Maryland Carey Law means you can get a global perspective of the law as it applies to many subject matters. Understanding the social, cultural, political, and economic factors that influence how the law is applied will enhance the depth and breadth of your knowledge and prepare you for international work.

Our proximity to Washington, DC means you can easily incorporate internships and externships at federal agencies and international organizations into your schedule. When you’re ready to take a deeper dive into international law, participate in one of our study abroad programs that aligns with your interests and career goals.
