Brian Sawers has taught law at the Georgetown University Law Center, The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, the Arizona State University Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, and the George Mason University Antonin Scalia Law School. In addition, he’s taught economics at Harvard University and writing at Duke University.

Professor Sawyers graduated summa cum laude from Duke University with an economics degree with distinction. Before attending Harvard Law School, he worked for the National Park Service as a park ranger. After Harvard, he practiced law overseas, focusing on cross-border M&A, IP licensing, and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
