Kerry E. Rodgers is a visiting assistant professor and Donald Gaines Murray Teaching Fellow in the first-year Lawyering Program. She joins Maryland Carey Law from the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) in Washington, DC, where she served as an attorney in the Office of the Secretary, Office of the General Counsel, and in the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) Office of the Chief Counsel. She previously held policy roles in the U.S. Department of the Interior (DOI) Office of the Secretary, the Bureau of Land Management, and the White House Council on Environmental Quality, and she practiced environmental law. Professor Rodgers taught the Environmental Law Clinic at Maryland Carey Law from June 2005 to June 2007. She earned a JD degree from New York University School of Law, an MES degree from Yale University, and an AB degree from Brown University.
