The University of Maryland Law Democrats (UMLD) is a student organization that was founded in the fall of 2003 to promote democratic ideals in the law. Through speaking events, policy discussions, and networking events, the UMLD fosters a forum for debate, awareness, and activism. The UMLD strives to connect with other young democrats in Maryland to allow our members to meet a group of diverse people who are interested in democratic politics.
