The Honorable Albert J. Matricciani, Jr. (Ret.) served as Associate Judge on the Court of Special Appeals for Maryland from 2008-14, and Associate Judge on the Circuit Court for Baltimore City from 1995-2008. He was a Partner at Whiteford, Taylor & Preston, LLP from 1987-95, returning as Senior Counsel from 2014-18. Judge Matricciani is a lifetime member of The American Law Institute. He has received numerous awards, including the Cardin Pro Bono Service Award from the Maryland Carey Law Alumni Association, the Rosalyn B. Bell Award for outstanding achievement in family law form the Women’s Law Center of Maryland, the Maryland Top Leadership in Law Award from the Daily Record (2004), and the James J. Hanks, Jr. Lifetime Achievement Award from the Business Law Section of the Maryland State Bar Association (2017).
