Adil’s practice focuses on representing health care providers with hospital-physician transactions, fraud and abuse issues, HIPAA, governance in non-profit and tax-exempt organizations, and corporate compliance programs.  He has a particular interest in planning and negotiating complex joint venture transactions and affiliations involving hospitals and physicians. 

Adil has over 15 years of experience as a health care attorney.  Before joining UMMS in 2014, Adil was a member of the FDA and Healthcare Practice Group at the Washington, D.C. based law firm of Arnold & Porter.  Prior to that, he served as Associate General Counsel at the University of Michigan Health System.

Adil earned his J.D. from the Indiana University School of Law with a concentration in health law.  He earned his Bachelor of Arts in economics and political science from the University of Michigan.
