During his time in these roles he supported the development and launch of global privacy programs to support compliance with privacy regulations in the U.S., e.g., HIPAA, CCPA, in Europe, e.g., GDPR, ePrivacy Directive, and in Asia, e.g., Japan’s APPI, China’s Cybersecurity Law. During this time he cultivated an interest in educating corporations on the broad implications and competitive advantages of data privacy and the importance of privacy-by-design.

Hamza received his Juris Doctor from the Ohio State University, Moritz College of Law. He graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park with a Bachelor of Science in Finance, and Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.
