Benjamin (“Ben”) S. Salsbury is currently a partner and founding Member of Salsbury Sullivan, LLC. Mr. Salsbury has spent his entire legal career litigating complex cases in virtually every jurisdiction in Maryland as well as the District of Columbia. Prior to founding Salsbury Sullivan, LLC, Mr. Salsbury worked at one of the preeminent Plaintiff’s medical malpractice firms in Baltimore City and then later joined one of the premier defense firms in Maryland and Washington, D.C. Mr. Salsbury has been annually recognized as a Rising Star in Super Lawyers Magazine in both Maryland (since 2011) and the District of Columbia (since 2013), which represents an elite list of the top 2.5% of lawyers under 40. Ben recently received the honor of being named to the Top 10 under 40 by the National Academy of Personal Injury Attorneys in 2016.
Mr. Salsbury graduated from the University of Maryland School of Law in the spring of 2007, where he served as an Associate Editor of the Journal of Healthcare Law and Policy, a member of the National Trial Team, and a member of the National Healthcare Moot Court Team. Mr. Salsbury continues his involvement with the law school and was recently appointed as the Co-Director of the National Trial Team.
Mr. Salsbury is active in the Community as a Mentor for Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Baltimore City. He is also a member of the J. Dudley Diggs Inns of Court, the American Bar Association, the Maryland Bar Association, and the Bar Association of Baltimore City.
