Ann Kim is the Director of Student Affairs. Ms. Kim oversees the Office of Student Affairs’ various priorities with a focus on academic advising, overseeing student organizations, student leadership training, wellness initiatives, and supporting students experiencing disruptions that impact their ability to study. Ms. Kim supports law students throughout their law school experience and is an advocate for their personal and professional development.
Before joining the Office of Student Affairs, Ms. Kim served five years in the Office of Admissions at Maryland Carey Law and was involved in the admissions process for the JD, LLM, and MSL programs. Ms. Kim also planned and facilitated diversity and pipeline outreach programs. Ms. Kim served as a member of the Misconduct and Irregularities in the Admission Process Subcommittee and served on the planning committee for the Annual Meeting Planning Work Group for the Law School Admission Council (LSAC).
Ms. Kim is admitted to practice law in the state of Maryland. She earned her JD from the University of Maryland Carey School of Law. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Kim earned a BA in Biochemistry from St. Mary’s College of Maryland.
