Henry Jones

Bio
Henry P. Jones is a J.D. candidate at the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law and an M.B.A. candidate at the University of Maryland Robert H. Smith School of Business, where he focuses on business analytics and corporate governance. A President’s Fellow, Business Law Fellow, and recipient of multiple academic scholarships, Henry is pursuing dual concentrations in business and criminal law.
He currently serves as a member of both Journal and the Moot Court Board, and he will participate in the Criminal Appellate Clinic in the coming academic year. He has been a finalist in multiple moot court and legislative advocacy competitions and previously served on Maryland’s National Trial Team. His published writing explores the application of restorative justice to corporate pharmaceutical misconduct, and he contributes to legal scholarship as a research assistant to Professor William Moon.
Professionally, Henry has served as a judicial intern across the Maryland judiciary—including the circuit and appellate courts—as well as at the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland. He has held positions in both chambers of the U.S. Congress and worked with multiple Am Law 100 firms and Maryland Legal Aid. He is also the founder and president of LegResolve LLC, a legal technology startup focused on AI-powered arbitration analytics.
Henry earned both an M.S. and B.S. summa cum laude in forensic investigation and criminal justice from Stevenson University, where he was a nationally ranked collegiate mock trial competitor and an all-academic lacrosse player. Henry also volunteers as a firefighter with the Chestnut Ridge Volunteer Fire Company and has supported numerous legal and crisis-intervention nonprofits across Maryland.
