Anthony Terry

Bio
Anthony Terry, a Baltimore native, is a 2027 class member at Maryland Carey Law and a first-generation law student pursuing coursework to prepare for a career in Intellectual Property and Business Law. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with a Cybersecurity concentration from Morgan State University. Before enrolling in law school, Anthony interned at Stanley Black & Decker as a Digital Innovations Intern and Edell, Shapiro & Finnan LLC as a Patent Prosecution Intern. Upon graduating from Morgan, Anthony Worked at Cadence Design Systems as an Application Engineer and then as a Patent Examiner at the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
At Maryland Carey Law, Anthony will sit for the USPTO Patent Bar Exam while working with Morgan’s Earl G. Graves School of Business and Management to assist Small Black-Owned Businesses and entrepreneurs with intellectual property and business matters. Anthony’s interest lies in the intersection of Business, Technology, and Innovation.
