Bio

Courtney Patterson is a 2027 class member at Maryland Carey Law on the Business Track, most interested in the areas of Bankruptcy and Corporate Litigation. Courtney graduated from the University of Delaware in May 2024 with an Honors B.S. in Economics, a B.A. in Political Science, and a minor in Legal Studies. While an undergraduate student, she interned at CSC Global as well as the Office of the Child Advocate in the New Castle County court system in Delaware. During her 1L year, she served as a 1L Representative for the Business Law Society and a Senator for the USGA. Courtney will be a Summer Associate at Morris, Nichols, Arsht & Tunnell in Wilmington, DE for the 2025 summer period. When she is not studying in the library, she loves to run along the harbor in preparation for half marathons and cheer on her favorite Philadelphia sports teams.
