Emily Martinez

Bio

Emily Martinez, M.Ed. is a Program Coordinator at the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law. In her role, Emily provides administrative support, coordinates logistics for special events, conferences, and colloquiums, and promotes the Environmental Law Program and Cannabis Legal Resource Center by managing content on their webpages, newsletters, and public-facing documents to support the programs' marketing efforts.

Emily received her Master of Education in Higher Education Administration and her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP). During her time at UTEP, she worked as an Inclusion and Advocacy Intern and as a Graduate Research Assistant in the Office of the Provost, conducting research, creating and facilitating student workshops, and managing operations for various student and faculty success initiatives.

After graduate school, Emily served as an Administrative Consultant at the University of the District of Columbia, where she supported the substance use disorder certification program.
