The University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law is pleased to announce the publication of its 2026 annual magazine. The issue is centered around a global theme, exploring the law school’s work on the world stage.
The cover story highlights Maryland Carey Law’s flourishing International and Comparative Law Program, which offers global experiences for students and is a hub for cutting-edge scholarship.
The international theme also runs through the alumni profiles, which delve into the careers of graduates working in the immigration law space, and engaging perspective pieces authored by faculty affiliated with the International and Comparative Law Program.
The issue also celebrates the expansion of the Master of Science in Law degree program, which equips executives to manage complex legal issues on the job. This fall, students will have new options to level up in employment law and higher education law.
A new section called Carey Clinics provides updates on the Clinical Law Program and a spotlight on the new Innocence Project clinic at Maryland Carey Law.
New this year, users will find interactive features, including videos and links to additional articles and photo galleries.
