The Business Law Program proudly congratulates the Class of 2026 on their significant achievement. This year, twenty-four students completed the Business Law Track, demonstrating dedication to a rigorous course of study designed to develop the legal knowledge, practical experience, and ethical judgment essential for professional success. Through coursework, clinics, externships, and professional work experiences, these graduates strengthened their ability to think critically and creatively while applying legal principles to real-world business challenges. We celebrate their accomplishments and look forward to the contributions they will make in the legal profession and beyond.

The Class of 2026 distinguished itself through an impressive record of academic excellence, leadership, and professional engagement. Students served in leadership roles on multiple law journals and student organizations, including editor-in-chief, managing editor, notes and comments editor, articles editor, and treasurer positions. Many represented the law school in advocacy competitions through Moot Court, Trial Team, ADR Team, and Transactional Law Team, while others contributed as peer advisors, admissions ambassadors, research assistants, and organization leaders. Their accomplishments reflect not only a commitment to academic achievement but also active engagement in the professional, service, and leadership opportunities that enrich the law school community.

Following graduation, members of the Class of 2026 will begin their careers in a wide range of prestigious legal, business, and public service positions. Graduates secured opportunities with leading law firms, including Ropes & Gray, DLA Piper, Troutman Pepper Locke, Moore Van Allen, Kramon & Graham, Lerch, Early & Brewer, Liff, Walsh & Simmons, McGuireWoods, Shulman Rogers, Mullen Coughlin, Richards, Layton & Finger, and the Rosen Law Firm.

Several graduates accepted judicial clerkships with state appellate and trial courts, including the Massachusetts Appeals Court, the Circuit Court of Maryland, and the chambers of senior judges of the appellate courts. Others will pursue careers in business and related fields, including positions in investment banking at Greenberg Advisors, higher education administration at Maryland Carey Law, and postgraduate legal fellowships with the Cordish Companies.

These outcomes reflect the breadth of opportunities available to Business Law Track graduates and the strong foundation they developed through their legal education and professional experiences.
