Alums capture multiple spots on 2024 Maryland Super Lawyer Top Lists

All News

University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law alums are well represented in the 2024 Maryland Super Lawyers publication, with 31 populating the Top Lists. The Top Lists are: Top 10: 2024 Maryland Super Lawyers, Top 50: 2024 Women Maryland Super Lawyers, and Top 100: 2024 Maryland Super Lawyers. Many of the 31 appear on more than one list.

Each year, Super Lawyers recognizes the top lawyers in Maryland through a patented selection process involving peer nomination, independent research, and peer evaluation. The attorneys who receive the highest point totals are further recognized in Maryland Super Lawyers Top Lists.

Alums Glenn Cooper ’73, Andrew V. Jezic ’94, Deborah Potter ’90, and Mary Roby Sanders ’90 make up 40% of the exclusive Top 10: 2024 Maryland Super Lawyers grouping.

Cooper is a principal at Lerch, Early & Brewer; Jezic is founding partner at Jezic & Moyse; Potter is a partner at Potter Burnett; and Sanders is a partner at Turnbull, Nicholson & Sanders, P.A.

Potter and Sanders also join 12 other alumnae on the Top 50: 2024 Women Maryland Super Lawyers list, and the four join 27 other Maryland Carey Law grads on the Top 100: 2024 Maryland Super Lawyers list.

“Maryland Carey Law takes great pride in the accomplishments of our many alums honored this year,” says Director of Alumni Engagement Jason Keller. “Congratulations to all the prominent attorneys appearing on these lists.”
