Course Description

The Maryland Journal of International Law (MJIL) continues the legacy of the "Maryland Journal of International Law and Trade," which was once published at the School of Law and was one of the preeminent and most widely cited student-edited international law journals in the country. MJIL is a primary scholarly outlet for the International and Comparative Law Program and provides a unique forum for scholarly discourse on a wide range of issues of international and comparative law. Authors include experts in the field of international law, academics, practitioners, and politicians. Student notes are also featured. Members of the editorial board, associate editors, and staff members earn one or more semester-hour credits. Allocation of credits:

An increase in the total number of credits allocated to a co-curricular organization requires Curriculum Committee approval. An internal reallocation of credits requires the involvement and approval of the organization’s faculty advisor. The approval of the faculty advisor is also required for any proposed reallocation of credits that involves an increase in the total number of staff members.
