1st & 3rd Floor Classrooms and Levin Courtroom (107, 108, 300A/B, 302, 307, 310, 311)
All classrooms on the 3rd floor, as well as the Levin Courtroom (307), are equipped with state-of-the-art A/V systems.
Projectors, screens, and system volume are controlled from the small Crestron touchpad located at the lectern or mounted to the wall nearby. You can use the classroom PC, connect your laptop with VGA or HDMI cables, or use the Air Media system to connect wirelessly to your devices for projection to the classroom screen(s). There is a lapel (lavalier) microphone in the drawer of the lectern.
Large Classrooms and Bekman Courtroom, 2nd, & 4th Floors (202, 205, 460)
Projectors, screens, and system volume are controlled from the touchpad in the lectern.
Use the "PC Lectern" source to use either the built-in lectern PC or a laptop. To project from your laptop, connect the VGA cable and switch the Extron interface in the lectern to "Laptop."
There is a lapel (lavalier) microphone in the side drawer of the lectern.
Seminar Rooms, 4th Floor (402, 405, 473)
The projector and volume controls are found in the media closet. Press and hold the green button for five seconds to turn on projector, and use the volume knob located on the right to adjust the volume.
The screen is controlled using a switch mounted on the wall.
To project from your laptop instead of the built-in lectern PC, connect the VGA cable and switch the Extron interface in the lectern to "Laptop."
Ceremonial Courtroom (160) and Krongard Boardroom (106)
Projectors, screens, and system volume are controlled from the touchpad in the lectern.
Use the "PC Lectern" source to use either the built-in lectern PC or a laptop. To project from your laptop, connect the VGA cable and switch the Extron interface in the lectern to "Laptop."
There are lapel (lavalier) and hand-held microphones in the side drawer of the lectern.
Clinic Interview Rooms (362, 363, 364, 366)
Clinic Interview Rooms must be booked in advance with the Clinical Law Program, 410-706-3295.
You may record a session in the interview room via a timed session scheduled with Media Services, or you can initiate an individual unscheduled recording.
- Scheduled Recording: Contact Media Services Department at mediaservices@law.umaryland.edu, 410-706-8413, to schedule your session. Wait for the Mediasite recording indicator to turn red from blue. After the session, Media Servies will send you a link to view the recording.
- Unscheduled Recording: Press and holding the red button mounted on the counter for five seconds to begin recording. Press and hold again to stop the recording. Afterwards, you will need to contact Media Services with the day, time, and room number to get a link to the recording.
