Sara Deriu has practiced law since 2007 with a focus on litigation, particularly insurance defense. She started her legal career with defense counsel for a national insurer where she developed trial skills and presented oral arguments in the then-Court of Special Appeals and then-Court of Appeals. She subsequently practiced for 10 years at another defense firm in Baltimore as a litigation associate before joining The Law Offices of Frank F. Daily, P.A. in 2020.
She has served on the Attorney Grievance Commission Peer Review Committee and as a volunteer attorney for Maryland Carey Law’s Just Advice Project since 2016.
She graduated from Gettysburg College in 2002 and Maryland Carey Law in 2007.
