Ms. Kalima Young


Advocate for the Education Project at the ACLU in Maryland.

Kalima Young is an educator, activist and filmmaker in Baltimore. She currently works as an Education Advocate at the ACLU of Maryland and is an instructor at Towson University in the LGBT Studies Department. Ms. Young has been working to improve the lives of youth for over 12 years, designing youth development programs, advocating for LGBT policy reform and providing capacity building on sexual minority youth issues. At the ACLU of Maryland, Ms. Young has been monitoring discipline and bullying policy in Maryland schools.
