Maryland Carey Law Participates in 2012 Public Health Law Conference

Professor Kathleen Dachille and staff of the Network for Public Health Law’s Eastern Region, based at Maryland Carey Law, head to Atlanta to lead sessions on food safety and policy approaches for reducing toxins in the home as part of the 2012 Public Health Law Conference, October 10-12.  

The Eastern Region office, part of the Network for Public Health Law, a national program of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, provides legal and policy advice on injury prevention, food safety and environmental health to public health officials nationally. 

Maryland Carey Law faculty and staff participating in the conference include Professor Kathleen Dachille, director of the Eastern Region office; Kerri McGowan Lowrey, senior staff attorney; Cristina Meneses, staff attorney; Megan McDonald, program officer; and Rita Turner, deputy director of the Center for Tobacco Regulation, Litigation and Advocacy.
