Four UM Carey Law Alumni Honored at Maryland State Bar Association Annual Meeting
Four UM Carey Law alumni were honored during the Maryland State Bar Association’s (MSBA) annual meeting in June in Ocean City, MD. The awards were made by MSBA, its foundation or the Pro Bono Resource Center, an MSBA/Legal Services partnership. The 2012 awardees included:

Elva E. Tillman ‘87, principal counsel (for condemnation), Baltimore City Solicitor’s Office -- Government/Corporate Law Department Award, from the Pro Bono Resource Center of Maryland

The Honorable Joseph F. Murphy Jr. ’69, former judge, Maryland Court of Appeals and member, Silverman Thompson Slutkin White – The H. Vernon Eney Endowment Fund Award, from the Maryland Bar Foundation.
