The global financial crisis and a failure to reach consensus about fighting climate change pose substantial challenges for environmental advocates.
To address them, environmental scholars from more than 30 countries will gather July 1 to 5 at UM Carey Law for Global Environmental Law at a Crossroads, the 10th Annual Colloquium of the International Union for the Conservation of Nature’s (IUCN) Academy of Environmental Law.
The event features more than 150 presentations, pre-colloquium workshops and several field trips plus a wine tasting and film festival.
