UM Carey Law Dean Phoebe Haddon joins Professor Paula Monopoli plus alumnae Joanne Pollak ’77, Ava Lias-Booker ’86 and three other female attorneys practicing in Baltimore as they answer that question and more during Women in the Law and by the Numbers, an hour-long session at Women of the World Baltimore.
Organized by Lias-Booker, managing partner at McGuire Woods, the panel discussion features women lawyers from academia, law firms and corporations, including UM Carey Law alumna Joanne Pollak, senior vice president and general counsel at Johns Hopkins Medicine.
Other panelists include Paula Monopoli, professor of law and founding director, Women, Leadership & Equality Program at UM Carey Law; Kathleen Pontone, principal, Miles & Stockbridge, P.C.; T.
