Screening of "Color at the Bar" and Discussion on Feb. 17
Join the School of Law and the Monumental City Bar Association for "Color at the Bar," a Black History Month celebration on Feb. 17 from 6-8 p.m.
"Color at the Bar" is a signature Monumental Program where members and guests screen the documentary also entitled
"Color at the Bar." Originally produced in 2001 by MPT and the Monumental Bar Association,
"Color at the Bar" effectively tells the story of how African American attorneys secured the right to practice law in Maryland.
Dean Phoebe Haddon will give welcome remarks, and School of Law Professor Larry Gibson will moderate a discussion after the screening.
A reception will follow in the Atrium.
