Screening of "The Response" to be held in DC on June 30
A screening and panel discussion of "
The Response," a 30-minute courtroom drama that takes viewers inside the U.S. military tribunals in Guantánamo, Cuba, will be held in Washington, DC, on Wednesday, June 30.
The School of Law partnered with Sig Libowitz ’07, an experienced writer, actor and film production executive, to create the film last year. Since its production, the film has been awarded the 2009 ABA Gavel Award in Drama & Literature and and was chosen as one of only 10 live action short films to advance in the voting process for the 82nd Academy Awards.
A Q&A will be held following the panel discussion.
