Community-wide program Ideals of Professionalism Thursday, March 31st at 3:00pm

Room 107A program developed by students, faculty and deans to engage our community in a discussion about their obligation as legal professionals to be aware of and sensitive to issues of diversity (race, ethnicity, disability, gender, religion, sexual orientation, and political perspective). The Forum will begin with a plenary session during which we will hear from a panel of speakers who will include:
Alan C. Cason Managing Partner, McGuire Woods, LLP Baltimore, MD
Paul M. Igasaki Consultant and former Vice Chair and Acting Chair EEOC
Thomas Perez Law School Assistant Professor, University of Maryland School of Law
The Honorable
Lynne A. Battaglia Maryland Court of Appeals
Professor
Sherrilyn Ifill will moderate this panel. Each speaker will address the topic from his or her unique perspective: law firm, government, academia and the judiciary.
The panel presentations will be followed by facilitated small group discussions where participants can discuss "real life" cases.
