Immigration Panel to Follow Nov. 12 Screening of "The Visitor"

The University of Maryland School of Law and its co-sponsors the ACLU of Maryland, American Friends Service Committee, Asia/Pacific Law Students Association, CASA de Maryland, C.A.I.R. Coalition, the UM Law Immigration Law and Policy Association,Latino/a Law Students Association, Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Services and the Muslim Law Students Association present

The Visitor

In The Visitor, Tom McCarthy's follow-up to his award-winning directorial debut The Station Agent, an American college professor and a young immigrant couple grapple with the treatment of immigrants and the legal process post-9/11.

A panel discussion on immigrant detention issues will follow the screening.
