Dean Karen Rothenberg Appointed to ABA Task Force on Law School Accreditation

Dean Karen Rothenberg has been appointed to the Accreditation Policy Task Force of the American Bar Association’s Section of Legal Education and Admissions to the Bar.

The prestigious 12-person task force will build upon a recently completed five-year review of law school accreditation standards, interpretations and procedures, to assess current standards conceptually and from a policy perspective. Task force members include law deans from leading schools across the country, a college president, jurists and legal practitioners.

The task force will present its findings at the Section of Legal Education and Admissions to the Bar’s June 2007 Council meeting.
