Prof. Harner Inducted Into American College of Bankruptcy

Michelle Harner, professor of law and director of the school's Business Law Program, was inducted into the American College of Bankruptcy on March 13 in Washington, D.C.

The American College of Bankruptcy is an honorary association of bankruptcy and insolvency professionals, and plays an important role in sustaining professional excellence in the field. College Fellows include commercial and consumer bankruptcy attorneys, judges, insolvency accountants, turnaround and workout specialists, law professors, government officials and others involved in the bankruptcy and insolvency community. Nominees are extended an invitation to join based on a sustained record of achievement reflecting the highest standards of professionalism.

Professor Harner recently finished serving as the reporter to the American Bankruptcy Institute to Study the Reform of Chapter 11, and currently serves as a member of the Dodd-Frank Study Working Group for the Administrative Office of the United States Courts.
