Regional Portion of the American College of Trial Lawyers and the Texas Young Lawyer's National Trial Competition – February 6-8

The University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law, American University Washington College of Law, and Catholic University Columbus School of Law have joined together again to host the regional portion of the American College of Trial Lawyers (ACTL) and the Texas Young Lawyer's National Trial Competition (NTC) February 6-8, 2015.

Twenty-two teams will compete in the competition. The top two seeds will participate in the prestigious National Trial Competition in Houston, Texas. It is important to send the very best advocates from our region to represent us at the national level.

We need your help as we seek judges and practitioners with trial experience and expertise to evaluate and judge the visiting competitors. Each round will last approximately three hours with some additional time for judges briefing, scoring and feedback. Parking is free and refreshments will be served. ACTL members are expected to judge the semi-final and final rounds on Sunday. Our greatest needs will be on Friday and Saturday.
