Prof. Greenberger Participates in Statewide Panel on Public Safety

School of Law professor and Center for Health and Homeland Security founder  Michael Greenberger was invited to participate in Maryland Governor Martin O’Malley’s Better Choices, Better Results forum on November 21 at noon. The event  focused on public safety and homeland security issues facing Maryland today.

The forums, which O’Malley began this summer, bring together stakeholders from across the state to discuss strategic goals and choices made by his administration to produce results that are bettering Maryland.

The Center, an academic consulting agency that hires many UM Carey graduates, works with the Governor’s Office of Homeland Security on a number of state projects, as well as the Maryland Emergency Management Agency who was also represented on the panel.
