On Tuesday, October 15, the Honorable Kathleen M. Dumais ’83, the Honorable Katherine D. Savage ’86 and six other honorees received Legal Excellence Awards from the Maryland Bar Foundation. Delegate Dumais was recognized for Advancement of Professional Confidence, and Judge Savage was recognized for Advancement of Public Service Responsibility.

The Maryland Bar Foundation is a non-profit charitable corporation organized in 1965, with the objective of obtaining gifts and contributions to be used to foster and maintain the honor and integrity of the profession of the law; to improve and to facilitate the administration of justice; and to promote the study of the law and research, the diffusion of knowledge, and the continuing education of lawyers.
