Six Alumnae Named 2013 Leading Women by The Daily Record

On Friday, September 27, six UM Carey Law alumnae were recognized by The Daily Record as 2013 Leading Women honorees. Leading Women identifies women age 40 or younger for the accomplishments they have made so far in their career.

Cristina Meneses '08, Public Health Law Network, UM Carey Law

Evynn Overton '04, Beveridge & Diamond, P.C.

Michelle Wilson '04, State's Attorney's Office for Baltimore City

"We're very proud to count these women among our alumni," said Dean Phoebe Haddon. "They are all extremely worthy of this honor, and reflect the ideals of UM Carey Law in their professional lives."

Leading Women honorees are judged on professional experience, community involvement and a commitment to inspiring change. This year's honorees will be recognized at a dinner Thursday, December 5 at the Hyatt Regency Inner Harbor in Baltimore.
