Law Library to serve as local site for March 13 Sunshine Week National Dialogue on Open Government & Secrecy session
The Thurgood Marshall Law Library will be a local program sponsor for a national teleforum on Monday, March 13, when the question "Are We Safer in the Dark?" will be considered by a panel of experts at the National Press Club. A full description of the program may be found here.
Please join us on Monday, March 13 at 1 p.m. in the Distance Education Room, Lower Level, Health Sciences and Human Services Library, 601West Lombard Street.
This program is a collaboration of OpenTheGovernment.org, the American Association of Law Libraries, the American Library Association, the American Society of Newspaper Editors/Sunshine Week, the Coalition of Journalists for Open Government, the League of Women Voters and the National Freedom of Information Coalition to celebrate Sunshine Week 2006.
