Legal scholars from the US, Canada and the United Kingdom will gather at the law school to consider the Philosophical Foundations of Discrimination Law, as part of a two-day conference, May 11 and 12, co-sponsored by the University of Toronto and UM Carey Law.
UM Carey Law Professor Deborah Hellman, who organized the event, will deliver a paper on “The Moral Foundation of Anti-Discrimination Law”; Professor Sam Bagenstos, of the University of Michigan Law School, will provide commentary on it.
