Westminster Hall

Westminster Hall, the churchwas completed in 1852; more than 60 years after the Westminster Burying Ground was established and is the final resting place of many famous individuals including: Edgar Allan Poe, General Sam Smith, and General James McHenry. 

The Westminster Preservation Trust, Inc., a non-profit organization, was established for the renovation, and management of the building and grounds. The renovated building, completed in 1983, is now used as a rental facility and is the perfect place to hold a unique and memorable event! Westminster Hall is a setting for celebrations of all kinds including weddings, receptions, anniversaries, parties, specials dinners, and social events.  Whether, your plans include dinner, lectures, or business meetings, you'll find our knowledgeable staff ready to assist you.

Westminster Hall is conveniently located in downtown Baltimore on the corner of Greene and Fayette Streets and is walking distance to hotels, theaters, restaurants, and sporting events; and a short drive to BWI Airport and Interstate 95, 295 and 695!
