The Samuel and Anne Hopkins Scholarship The Samuel and Anne Hopkins Scholarship Fund was established through the generosity of brothers Henry H. Hopkins ’68, Frederick M. Hopkins ’92, Robert B. Hopkins ’88, and Samuel B. Hopkins to honor their parents Samuel and Anne Hopkins. Samuel Hopkins was a 1938 graduate of the School of Law and a distinguished Baltimore Civic and Business leader and member of the Maryland Bar. The Hopkins Scholarship will go to an outstanding student enrolled at the University of Maryland Carey School of Law. Criteria for Consideration: Strong evidence of academic promise History of achievement Strong work ethic Requirements: Application for admission to the full-time day or part-time evening program Separate Hopkins Scholarship application Additional letter of recommendation addressing non-academic activities and achievement Telephonic or in-person interview Instructions: If you believe you meet the criteria for consideration, we encourage you to submit the separate Hopkins Scholarship application by March 15th, but in any event after you have submitted your application for admission to Maryland Carey Law. The Hopkins Scholarship Application should be e-mailed to firstname.lastname@example.org. The additional letter of recommendation required for the Hopkins Scholarship should be mailed or e-mailed directly to the Office of Admissions by its author. Finalists for the Hopkins Scholarship will be contacted to schedule an interview. All Hopkins Scholarship candidates will be considered for other scholarships in the event that they are not selected for the Hopkins Scholarship.
