Overview

The Master of Science (MS) in Law is a part-time, two-year program developed for working professionals who want to gain a competitive edge in their career. As a student in our MS in Law program, you will develop an understanding of the law within your chosen field while simultaneously getting practical training in the modes of legal analysis that will enhance your existing professional knowledge and experience.

We offer five areas of specialty-Environmental Law, Health Care Law, Patent Law, Cybersecurity Law, and Homeland Security and Crisis Management Law-with three programs taught in a traditional classroom setting at the University of Maryland College Park and two programs taught online. Both programs are taught by instructors from Maryland Carey Law and distinguished practitioners.
