About the Competition:

The Competition requires teams of 2-3 students to analyze a hypothetical fact pattern involving various interactions between health care stakeholders and entities participating in several health care activities that necessitate regulatory and compliance oversight. While the fact pattern will implicate numerous health law practice areas and a variety of issues, the 2021 fact pattern will have a special focus on food and drug law concerns. The fact pattern will be given to teams, who will have a short window in which to analyze the problem and present their findings and recommendations to a panel or panels of practicing regulatory and compliance attorneys. The winners and prize recipients will be announced during our virtual awards celebration on February 27, 2021.

If you would like more information about the Competition or have any additional questions, please email to Rebecca Hall, Managing Director of the Law & Health Care Program, at r.hall@law.umaryland.edu.
