The group is participating in a yearlong program, including networking events with Circle of Excellence and Icon women leaders and small-group conversations focused on topics that affect women leaders. The 2020 classs first meeting was at the Women Who Lead Legislative Summit in Annapolis, Maryland, on Feb. 24. The group will be recognized at a Leading Women event in December.

One notable winner is Cara O’Brien ’07. While a student, O’Brien participated in the law school’s Women, Leadership, and Equality Program and was a Rose Zetzer Fellowa program offering advanced opportunities for research and practice in the area of gender equality and the law. Women, Leadership, and Equality is the first and only program of its kind in the nation.
