Information Privacy Law Seminar/Course

This course will provide an introduction and analysis of global privacy laws and concepts. After this course, students should be able to understand how various types of global laws impact privacy, how to spot privacy issues, and how multinational organizations are adapting in this evolving space. Topics we will cover will include global perspectives on the origins of privacy, law enforcement and national security, privacy issues in the consumer, health, finance, education, employment space, and privacy in emerging technologies.
