Mr. Kobrin serves as an Assistant Public Defender in Howard County , where his practice consists of litigating and trying felony criminal cases. Prior to Howard County, Mr. Kobrin practiced in the Appellate Division of the Maryland Office of the Public Defender.
After graduating from the University of Maryland School of Law in 2011, Mr. Kobrin clerked for The Honorable Mary Ellen Barbera of the Maryland Court of Appeals. While in school, Mr. Kobrin served as President of the Moot Court Board, a writing fellow, a research assistant, and Coordinator of the Peer Advisor Program. As a peer advisor during his third year, Mr. Kobrin helped Professor David Gray's Section G team win the Fifth Annual Robert Percival Softball Tournament.
