Each year the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law hosts Fall and Spring Recruitment Programs. These programs allow employers both locally and nationally to recruit our students for summer and permanent positions. Law firms, public interest and government employers all participate in this program and we welcome you to consider joining the ranks of many prestigious employers who have experienced great success through our program. Fall Recruitment Program Components

Employer Registration

Register through University of Maryland School of Law’s online recruitment system, Symplicity or by using our Registration Forms above.  If using Symplicity, log in with your username and password. (If you do not remember your password, click on "Forgot Password" or if you are a first-time visitor, click on "Register" to obtain a new account.) Once you are logged in, click on "OCI" and then "Request Schedule" to sign up for an interview schedule. There are different sessions to select when registering, so please make sure you are registering for the correct program and city. Sessions include: Fall Recruitment On Campus Interviews (OCI), Washington Interview Program, and the North Carolina Interview Program.

National Law School Consortium Regional Interview Program

We are pleased to announce that we are a co-founding member of the National Law School Consortium (NLSC) which is comprised of ten of the nation's top twenty public law schools and we host programs in various cities throughout the country.

To Register for the NLSC programs you may use our online recruiting system, Symplicity: click on "Register" to obtain a new account. Once you are logged in, click on "OCI" and then "Request Schedule" to sign up for an interview schedule. There are different sessions to select when registering, so please make sure you are registering for the correct program. Regional interview sites include: Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Philadelphia, and San Francisco.

As an alternative to interview programs, employers may also participate in our recruitment program by conducting a bulk Résumé Collection or posting employment and internship listings through our Symplicity job database.

Legal Assistance Resources

University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law students are not licensed attorneys and cannot provide legal representation for the general public. Student attorneys work under the direct supervision of faculty members on select cases handled by the Clinical Law Program.
