Celebrating 20 Years of Impact

The Center for Dispute Resolution at Maryland Carey Law (C-DRUM) is celebrating its 20th anniversary! As we reflect on our extraordinary growth over the past two decades, we are proud of our peer ranking among the nation’s top law school dispute resolution programs. We have a world class ADR team and innovative curriculum that allows students to connect theory to real community practice to change lives and reform systems in the Mediation Clinic, Levitas Initiative to Prevent Sexual Assault, and Ronna K. Jablow Community Mediation Fellowship.

Beyond educating the next generation of attorneys to be strategic problem solvers, C-DRUM's professional services and collaborations enhance the conflict resolution capacity and effectiveness of businesses, schools, and institutions. Our School Conflict Resolution Education Program supports schools to integrate restorative approaches to build positive learning climates and equitable disciplinary practices. Our professional training and services equip leaders and organizations with constructive approaches to conflict resolution. Our cutting-edge research improves the quality and reach of dispute resolution processes to address complex social problems.
