Naming Files Before Uploading to Blackboard

Blackboard allows you to attach files when you send email, post to the Discussion Board, a Blog, Wiki, or Journal.

It is critical to name files properly before uploading to Blackboard. Keep the filename as short as possible and do not use special characters!

The # sign is a special character, do not use it when naming your files.

If you use a Mac please read this short paper on how to name files on a Mac before loading into Blackboard.
