Rebuilding Trip

The MCSC Rebuild Trip is first and foremost a great way to get involved in public service and community outreach. Our group partners with Habitat for Humanity to build houses for individuals in need. Habitat for Humanity seeks to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness from the world, and to make decent shelter a matter of conscience and action. Habitat for Humanity’s success depends on volunteer labor, donations, and sponsorships to create simple, decent, affordable homes for families who are in severe need and are willing to partner with our organization. Habitat houses are sold to partner families at no profit with interest free mortgages, and the homeowners’ monthly mortgage payments are used through a revolving fund to build more Habitat houses. Come join the fun, and help rebuild lives with new homes!
