Special Events

First Year Elections:

The nomination period will begin on the first day of classes, August 27, and end on September 2.  Nomination forms will be due to the SBA office by 8:30pm.

All day student candidates are required to attend the Meet the Candidates forum on Monday, September 8 at 4:10pm in room 107.

All evening student candidates are required to attend the Meet the Candidates forum on Monday, September 8 at 8:40pm in room 107.

First year elections will take place on Wednesday, September 10 on Blackboard.  The runoff election will take place on Thursday, September 11. To vote, sign into Blackboard and look in the classes section for the elections link.

Funding Meeting:

The SBA Funding Meeting will take place on Sunday, September 14.

SBA General Meeting:

The first general meeting of the SBA will be held on Sunday, September
14 at 6:00pm in room 108. All students are welcome to attend.

If you would like your event information posted, please send an email to

sbaexec @ law.umaryland.edu
by Friday of the week prior to the event.
