Student Animal Legal Defense Fund


The University of Maryland School of Law Student Animal Legal Defense Fund (Maryland SALDF) is dedicated to:

  1. Educating the Maryland Law School community about forms of institutionalized animal abuse,
  2. Fostering awareness of means of combating this abuse through litigation, and
  3. Providing opportunities for students to network with community, local, and national organizations protecting the lives and interests of animals.
